Sweet Potato Smoothie

- Awesomeness 100%
- Healthiness 90%
- Difficulty 25%

1 medium or small baked sweet potato (previously baked, and refrigerated)
1/2 cup almond milk (or other milk preference)
1/2 apple (or whole banana)
2 spoons greek yogurt
1-2 spoons peanut butter
1/4 teaspoon tumeric
A couple shakes of cinnamon
1-2 ice cubes
Make your morning extra special with my new favorite smoothie! Super easy, but does require a previously baked and refrigerated sweet potato (bake a batch every Sunday ahead of time, like a pro!)
Creamy, healthy and with a depth of flavor, thanks to the tumeric and cinnamon. I’ve been enjoying this after a morning run (sweet potatoes are great recovery foods, and tumeric is good for your joints, so win-win).
Not complicated, just mix all ingredients together in a blender until smooth. Add a couple ice cubes near the end to give it a good smoothie vibe. Feel free to vary it up and let me know anything extra good if you try it. Enjoy!
